Introduction
I just finished reading the book Nyxia By Scott Reintgen. It’s a great read in the Science Fiction genre about a boy (yes, a boy), Emmett, who has been chosen to travel to another planet to mine a valuable substance, called Nyixia. But out of ten people, only eight can go, and to do that they will have to compete in a series of tests where alliances and enemies are made. Story
Emmett has been chosen as one of ten teens to compete for the chance to Nyxia, the most valuable substance in the entire universe. If Emmett manages to be part of the eight who will be sent to min the substance, he’ll be set for life. Fifty thousand dollars a month, medical plans for him and his family, and the chance to go down in history. But as Emmett participates in more ‘tests’, he starts to wonder about the substance they are going to mine, and starts to question what will happen to them after their job is done…
Opinion
I love this book because it is filled with creative scenarios and ideas that make. it so much more interesting. It is a fast-paced page-turner. This book shows how money and desperation can change how people act. This is a great book for science fiction readers who are in middle school or above. I rate this book 5 stars because it’s filled with many creative ideas that make it very interesting and suspense that makes you keep reading the book until it’s finished.
