Introduction

I just finished reading a book called Storm Runner by J.C. Cervantes and Rick Riordan. It is a Fiction story based on Mayan Mythology. This book is about a boy named Zane who finds out that he is the son of a Mayan God. It is an interesting novel with two other books in the series. Read this Book Review to find out more!

Story

In this book, a boy named Zane Obispo finds out he is the son of the Mayan God of Storms, Hurakan. He meets a mysterious girl named Brooks who says that tels him he is important to fulfill a prophecy. This prophecy states that Zane will free the god of death, destruction, and disaster, Ah-Puch creating chaos that only Zane will have the power to stop. This books follow Zane and Brooks on thier journey as they find new friends and foes while searchig for a way to find and stop Ah-Puch

Opinion

I personally like this book a lot because of the interesting way the story unfolds and the intriguing events. This book explained each scene with detail. I rate this book a 5 star because of it’s interesting storyline and detail in each page. A problem that I had with this book was that there were a lot of complicated names which were hard to understand. The chaacter list befroe the story helped to understamd the names though.
