Introduction

I recently finished reading Unplugged By Gordon Korman. It’s a book centered around a boy, Jett who is the son of a billionaire. Jett, being spoiled, is sent to The Oasis?. Read this book review to find out more about this book and what I think of it.

Story

This book is from the point of view of Jett Baranov, the spoiled son of a billionaire. Then, he is abruptly sent on his private jet to an isolated location known as Oasis, a camp for people to practice mind and body wellness. He is forced to disconnect from the internet via electronics and participate in activities with other kids with whom he doesn’t have any interest in. Then, after a few weeks, when he’s bonded with his campmates via their new rescue lizard, he starts to notice something wrong with the adults. But to dig deeper he need his campmates’s help, and to do that, he needs to convince them the he is no longer s spoiled troublemaker.

Opinion

I personally think that this is a great book to read. This book illustrates the feelings and thoughts about Jett before, during, and after his transformation in clear detail. This book is also filled with mystery, action, and suspense. I would suggest this book for middle-schoolers and people who like to read books with a combination of action and suspense. I rate this book 5 stars because personally it is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time because of it’s balanced combination of suspense and action which keeps the reader interested.
