There are more people living in this circle than outside it
You might look at this circle and think that there can not be that many people living inside that small thing, but it makes sense. The circle. includes India and China, the two of the most populous countries. It also includes Japan and the densely populated part of Indonesia, which are the 11th and 4th and are respectively the most populous countries in the world. It also includes other countries like the densely populated Bangladesh & Pakistan, plus a few more, which make the population in this circle more than the population of the world outside it.
World Map but it’s centered on New Zealand
This map has no change except that it is centered around the country of New Zealand. It actually shows all of Antarctica for once, it also shows how close certain countries are to the South Pole are. But the thing that stands out the most is The Pacific Ocean, a normal map centered on 0 degrees longitude and latitude that fails to show the true size of The Pacific. While this map truly shows why the Pacific is called the largest ocean in the world.
Countries that were controlled by Europe
Looking at this map, you will see that almost all of the world was explored and colonized by Europe. There is green. Everwhere. Almost everywhere in The Americas & Africa, you can see European control and influence. Only a few nations were spared: Japan, The Koreas, Liberia, & Thailand.
The World’s Remaining Monarchies
You might think that kings and queens are a thing of the past. But look at this map and you will realize that monarchies are still present today. The U.K is a nice example of this, but other countries colored in blue also have the queen of The UK as their head of state, even if that position is just a figurehead. Other countries are absolute monarchies, meaning that the king or queen holds all the power, like Saudi Arabia and Morocco, and even tiny Bhutan.
