Rise of Nations (commonly abbreviated as RoN) is a multiplayer strategy game on Roblox that lets a player run and expand as any modern-day nation. The game has many functions such as the stability of your nation, economy, and diplomacy with other nations. The game itself has a lobby in which you can find servers with a maximum limit of 30 players. You can join a server that is being created, but it needs at least 20 people. Each game starts in the Year 2019 and will exist until the last player leaves, some games can last until 2300+!
The game, as of now, has only one developer, known as Hyperant, and is fairly active. It has a total of _ million visits and has around __ active players at any given time. The game has recently been gifted with a string of new updates that are only expected to continue.
Although it has fewer features than its more advanced Grand-Strategy games such as HOI4 and EU4, It is completely free and does not have any features or items that can be bought to give one player an in-game advantage over others.
The game has a wide variety of formables, which are nations that do not currently exist in the world but can be ‘formed’ by certain nations after taking a certain territory. Formables are often historical countries that existed at some time or another. On the other hand, releaseables are nations that are part of another country at the start of the game but can declare independence if the stability of the nation hosting them is too low.
What I personally love about this game is the fact that it is multiplayer, each game will be different which will open up brand-new experiences. There is no need to worry about doing the same thing over and over and over again. And the wide variety of nations to pick from, there are a lot of nations you can play in this game and each one will open up a different new experience.
A few things about this game I would like to fix are the numerous glitches and minor bugs that can happen while playing, but that is a very minor problem. I rate this game 10/10
